About Me

Born in Singapore and raised on a cattle farm in Victoria, Australia, I’ve always lived at the intersection of cultures, environments, and stories. My early years in Asia and rural Australia shaped my curiosity about people and places,  a thread that runs through my work as a journalism student and storyteller today.

After four years at boarding school, where I balanced academic life with my passion for eventing and horse riding,  I took a gap year to backpack through 14 European countries. This adventure sparked my love for travel writing and broadened my understanding of the world. I then spent five months working at the InterContinental Resort on Hayman Island, gaining valuable experience in hospitality, communication, and adaptability.

Now based in Denmark on an international exchange at the Danish School of Media and Journalism, I’ve travelled to 23 European countries and continue to explore new perspectives through my reporting.

My foundation in multimedia storytelling, combined with practical newsroom experience and a global outlook, allows me to craft work that is thoughtful, engaging, and grounded in real experiences. Whether I’m writing long-form features, managing digital content, or conducting in-depth interviews, I’m particularly drawn to human-interest stories, travel journalism, and cross-cultural narratives.
